What personal data we collect and why we collect it
If you become a member of the Columbus Blues Alliance, we collect your name, address, and email so that we can contact you and/or mail your membership card to you. We do not share any personal data with any party outside the organization. Members’ financial/credit card information is never collected or stored on our website. That data is only collected by Stripe (our CC payment processor), athough you never leave our site when managing your membership.
Media
Images uploaded to our site are used by us to either enhance our site, or provide a gallery of event photos taken by our designated photojournalists, or photographer-supporters. These images may not be reused by anyone without the consent and permission of the photographer.
The Columbus Skyline photo used on our site was taken by Fatah Muse (www.flickr.com/photos/socdaall) and reused under the CCL-2.0 license.
Contact forms
Contact forms on our site send emails to our staff to provide feedback and/or answer questions from visitors.
Hall of Fame nomination forms are only used to collect supporting information for nominations and membership verification.
Cookies
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
Embedded content from other websites

How long we retain your data
We store members’ personal information they provide in their user profile. Only our website administrators can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username).
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. You cannot retain your membership if your data is purged.
