What do I get for becoming a member/why should I join?

Becoming a sustaining member is the most impactful way to support the Columbus Blues Alliance. For only $20 a year, your membership dues go directly to the Alliance’s efforts to support the local Columbus blues community including sponsoring production costs for the Columbus Blues Challenge, travel costs for sending our winning artists to Memphis to compete in the International Blues Challenge, production costs for blues concerts at member venues, production costs for the featured Artist of the Month program, the 614 Blues Ed program, the “Blues in the Schools” program, and our administrative support of the Creekside Blues and Jazz Festival.

Your annual donation makes it possible for the Columbus Blues Alliance to continue to support these programs, and continue to keep the blues alive.

In addition to directly supporting blues artists, venues, and blues education, you also receive additional benefits as a member of the Alliance including:

• Voting rights in all elections and motions made at CBA meetings, allowing your voice to be heard in guiding our support of the blues community
• Opportunity to submit nominations for the annual Columbus Blues Hall of Fame induction, bringing recognition to the contributions local artists, promoters and other industry people that have made significant contributions to both local and national blues music.
• Discounted admission to most official CBA shows (Columbus Blues Challenge, Hall of Fame Ceremony, etc)
• Discounted admission to special events by partner organizations
